Instrument technicians
at Altus Anglo Eastern for Offshore
Job tasks: Troubleshooting and maintenance on all instrumentation/automation and telecom-equipment onboard according to the maintenance program, including function testing of fire and gas system and Emergency shutdown-system.
Education: Process automation /instrumentation, preferably at BSC level or equivalent. Long experience can compensate for education. All should have EX-Course..
Experience: Min. 3 years experience from similar work in process plants, platforms, gas tankers or FPSO’s. Minimum one Instrument technician per rotation should cover computerized control systems, one Instrument technician should cover field instrumentation and one Instrument technician should cover fire and gas detection systems.
Work schedule: Offshore rotation, i.e. 5 weeks on and 5 weeks off.
Number of personnel: Four onboard at all time - totally employed 8.
