We are currently looking for Chief Engineers on our self-elevating jack up barges operating in the Persian Gulf.

Responsibilities:

1) To ensure that engineering operations are carried out to marine best practice, manufacturer’s recommendations, class and flag state requirements and company’s standards
2) To attain minimum if not zero downtime by attending regular maintenance and mechanical defects of the offshore unit
3) To manage Engine Room staff and to monitor their compliance with set job accountabilities
4) Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair related to all equipment throughout the entire offshore unit:
5) To implement plan maintenance system (PMS) and reactive/breakdown maintenance on the offshore unit
6) To ensure that machinery, hull and systems of the offshore unit are kept under class requirements; and all records, manuals and technical drawings are updated and maintained in an appropriate manner and in line with any changes to onboard equipment
7) To ensure records and logs are properly updated and maintained
8) To determine the fuel, lube oil, and other consumables, required inventory of spare parts, fuel oil, lube oil and slop oil transfers
9) To follow international and GMS guidelines to ensure that bunkering fuel and lube oil are completed in a safe and environmental manner

Qualifications:

1) Shall be certified in accordance with STCW 95 Code A-III/2 (ATT 1)
2) Shall possess extensive knowledge of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.
3) Must have experience as Chief Engineer on offshore units for at least five years or equivalent experience elsewhere

We are currently looking for Masters on our self-elevating jack-up barges operating in the Persian Gulf.

Responsibilities:
1) Must ensure the integrity and seaworthiness of the MOU
2) Must ensure that the MOU is in full compliance with international maritime laws, rules and regulations, local laws as well as company policies
3) Must ensure the company’s and the charterer’s fullest satisfaction with regard to contractual obligations, MOU and safety performance
4) In overall charge for all aspects of operation as laid down in maritime rules and regulations set out by the IMO, Class Society, Maritime Authorities (such as Flag State), immigration and customs, etc. as well as company performance and QHSE standards
5) To ensure the safe undocking, navigation, maneuvering, approach and positioning of the MOU from one offshore location to another in strict compliance with internationally recognized maritime standards and charter’s/company’s operating standards and to train his Deck Officers
6) To plan rig moves and to attend pre-rig move meetings to coordinate with responsible producing and drilling personnel
7) To undertake regular inspections of the MOU in order to ensure compliance with company’s /client’s safety, security and housekeeping rules
8) To organize the daily activities onboard by holding daily planning meetings with all Head of Departments and the clients representative (if applicable) to ensure proper operations, planned and unscheduled maintenance, helicopter operation, work permits, specific work projects by third parties, etc.
9) To manage cost control
10) Training, offshore assessments, disciplinary procedures and performance appraisals of Senior Deck/Engine Officers, to identify and recommend potentiality of staff being appraised for promotion, continued employment or otherwise

Qualifications:
1) Shall be certified in accordance with STCW 95 Code A-II/2 (ANT 1), A-IV/2, A-I/2 and in accordance with Radio regulations
2) Shall be certified as per STCW 95 Code A-VI/1-1 to VI/1-4, A-VI/2-1, A-VI/3 and A-VI/4
3) Should hold a Bridge Resource Management certificate as per STCW 95 recommended guidance
4) Shall possess extensive knowledge of ISM, ISPS, COLREG, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.
5) Must have recent seagoing experience as Master on MOUs/AHTS for a minimum of five years
